Hi-Tech
Crime Investigation Cycle Jersey Sponsorship Opportunity
Posted with permission of the F3 Committee
On the 22nd July 2009 DC Stewart Bergman, of the Devon &
Cornwall Constabulary’s Hi-Tech Crime Unit, will take part in a 300
mile, London to Paris Cycle Challenge in support of Christian Aid.
Stewart will be cycling around 75 miles per day, over four days,
finishing at the Eiffel Tower on the 25th July in time to see the
professional riders finish the final stage of the Tour de France!
Stewart is hoping to raise around ÂŁ2,000 for Christian Aid and is
planning a number of other local fund raising initiatives to help reach
this target. “
Christian
Aid works in around 50 countries with the world’s poorest people,
regardless of race or religion, tackling the causes and consequences of
poverty and injustice”.
As part of his fund raising, Stewart is having a cycle jersey
professionally produced by Pro-Vision Clothing. The jersey will be
designed around the theme of Hi-Tech Crime Investigation and will
include the logos and other corporate branding of sponsors from within
this arena. If you would like to support Stewart in this initiative,
please email him for further information: stewart@htcu.co.uk

The closing date for all expressions of interest will be 28th February
2009. This is to allow adequate time for the design and production of
the jersey by Pro-Vision Clothing and to have a decent period of time
prior to the London to Paris Ride for exposure at other fund raising
initiatives and cycling events.
Product Exposure
Initially five custom made jerseys will be produced for Stewart to wear
throughout the event, including the final day when he will be present
at the finish stage of the Tour de France.
In the months leading up to the London to Paris Cycle Challenge Stewart
will be taking part in publicity and fund raising initiatives. As part
of his training programme he will also be participating in a number of
other cycling events, including Time Trials and Cyclosportives.
Wherever practicable he will be wearing the jersey throughout these
events. Further details of his itinerary can be supplied upon request.
Additional copies of the jersey will be made available on eBay
Auctions, with all profits going to Christian Aid. Stewart will also be
delighted to supply additional copies of the cycling jersey to any of
the sponsors at cost (ÂŁ35.00 per jersey).
If any F3 members would like to make a donation to Christian Aid in
support of Stewart, you can do so online at:
