F3 exists to
provide an open forum for all forensic computing
practitioners, to enable them to share their collective knowledge
through discussion and training. F3 is run on a non-profit
basis by a committee that is elected by the
membership at the F3 Annual Conference. Committee members are active in
the field of Forensic IT and give their time to the running of F3 on a
voluntary basis. F3 days and inputs are almost exclusively technically
based, rather than political or managerial. All F3 members have equal
access to all the information disseminated by the forum and to all
lectures, workshops and training sessions organised by F3. Those
engaged mainly in the field of defence work are as welcome as those
working for prosecution agencies. A list of some of our members is HERE (those who are on the e-mail
circulation list only) but please note it is only accessible by logged
in, registered, F3 users.

rests on knowledge; what is new is meaningful because it departs
slightly from what was known before." Robert Oppenheimer

Workshops for 2010 are in the planning stage. Watch this space...literally.
Please e-mail me (tedsmith@f3.org.uk) links to any forensic computing related news articles that you know of so that I can consider placing a link to it on the site for others. As a community we find a lot of useful stuff so lets try to collate it here for everyone.
