NCJRS is a federally funded resource offering justice and substance abuse information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.

NCJRS services and resources are available to anyone interested in crime, victim assistance, and public safety including policymakers, practitioners, researchers, educators, community leaders, and the general public.

They produced the Digital Evidence Guidance for Law Enforcement document accessible via this thread. Seeing as F3 has a varied forensic background I thought that some of the other areas they look into may be of interest to members.

The National Software Reference Library (NSRL) provides a repository of known software, file profiles, and file signatures for use by law enforcement and other organizations in computer forensics investigations.
